The KENDAL Concrete Candle is a decorative tabletop fire pit for private outdoor use. It is made of solid concrete and equipped with a durable, long-lasting wick that runs on wax.
The candle is refillable and designed for long-term use. A bamboo lid serves as weather protection and allows for safe flame extinguishing.
Intended Use
The concrete candle is exclusively intended for decorative outdoor use, e.g., on balconies, terraces, or in the garden.
It is not designed as a heating device.
Suitable fuels:
- Paraffin wax
- Commercial wax remnants
- Wax granules
Notes on Use & Burn Time
With proper use, the burn time of the long-lasting wick is almost unlimited.
Prerequisites:
- The wick must always protrude approx. 2 cm from the liquid wax
- The wax level must not get too low
- Refill wax in good time if necessary
If no wax is refilled, the wick can be damaged.

- Use only on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface
- Do not leave unattended during operation
- Place out of reach of children and pets
- Use only suitable types of wax
- Allow to cool completely after use
- The exterior generally remains cool, but can heat up more significantly with a low wax level

How long will my concrete candle last?
When used correctly, the burning time of the durable permanent wick is almost unlimited. It is important that the wick always protrudes approx. 2 cm out of the liquid wax. As soon as the wax level is too low, you should refill with candle remnants, wax plates, or granules to continuously supply the wick with wax – this way, your concrete candle remains ready for use.
Which types of wax can I use?
You can use any commercially available type of wax. We recommend Monster24 paraffin wax. Colored wax will color the surface accordingly. Make sure to only use wax remnants that melt completely, and remove all old wicks or wick remnants beforehand.
What happens if I don't refill wax?
If too little wax is added, the wick can be damaged. Only with a sufficient supply of liquid wax can the wick function optimally and ensure a long lifespan.
Does the concrete candle get hot?
The outside usually remains pleasantly cool. However, this depends on the operation: if the flame burns deep inside the vessel, the concrete casing can heat up more. Therefore, pay attention to the fill level and the location of your concrete candle.
